Something Eloquent

So I’ve been con­sid­er­ing my next big pur­chase, and it really is kind of a big one.

I want a MacBook. I don’t need one, I just want it. I wan’t it even more when I find things like this on the Internets. It just seems so handy! Of course, a big pur­chase like this one will require some sav­ing. So sav­ing I will do. It’s time to get my shit together and pay off my debts for real. I am really bad with money, so Lindsay has been help­ing me do some budget­ing and that is help­ing me see where all of my gold coins go. I need to learn how to con­trol my impulse buy­ing, because if I don’t I can see myself end­ing up as a can­did­ate to be a guest on one of my sis­ters favour­ite tele­vi­sion shows… I don’t want that at all. I want to be com­fort­able, and I’m real­iz­ing that I’ve been pay­ing for com­forts as though I can actu­ally afford all of them. This was fool­ish of me and must change if I want to earn those com­forts legit­im­ately in the future. Lindsay has at this point hid­den my credit cards, that’s a good first step. I also need to can­cel any unne­ces­sary pay­ments that come off of the plastic.
