Ahhh!

I moved my computer into the living room today and attached it to the television screen, I also dug up my wireless keyboard and mouse. I may have to do this more often.  I’m a little proud of my computer, it’s the first one that I built from scratch using all new and actually decent parts. I’ve got an Antec

My daily routine.

For your approval, something about myself. I’m not really very interesting though. I’m also terrible at remembering details. My past is a haze really, a few points stand out but the details and events leading to those points are clouded and ephemeral. It’s tough to tell a story that has nothing but a couple of climaxes with no back

An update.

So I’ve been considering my next big purchase, and it really is kind of a big one. I want a MacBook. I don’t need one, I just want it. I wan’t it even more when I find things like this on the Internets. It just seems so handy! Of course, a big purchase like this one will require some saving. So saving I will

Thinking about the future.

Some University pamphlets have started arriving in the mail. The First two are from Capilano University in North Vancouver, and The University Of New Bruswick in St John. Capilano sent me a fairly generic viewbook with a small program guide tucked into the back. U.N.B. sent a small library in comparison, the program guide focuses on the faculty

Okay! Writin’ stuff

I have a notebook in my pocket. Ostensibly this is so that if I have a sudden inspiration to write, or some random idea jumps in to my head and I must tell the world about it, I have a place to take notes. I can jot down a bit of an outline so that the thought or idea doesn’t get lost in

An exercise in descriptive verbiage.

The base roughly one fifth of the total height of the object, and silver in colour. It has the reflective quality of dull metal and a very slightly rough visible texturing. The width of the base is approximately half again the width of the rest of the object. The edges of the object appear vertical, there

Do you know where your food comes from?

I have no idea. Well, that’s not entirely true. For the last year-ish I’ve been paying more attention to what I eat. I realized early on that I actually give a shit about the quality of food that I consume. The “happiness” of the animal seems to directly relate to how good it tastes. Pasture finished steaks seem more tender,

Michael Proietti : Chefs : Food Network

Michael Proietti : Chefs : Food Network. So apparently If I were a little bit heavier, and a whole lot gayer. I could be the next Food Network Star. At least, that’s what Lindsay says. I suppose that I can see it too.

This is harder than it looks.

I spent today in an attempt to write all day. I’m petering out now. I wrote pretty steadily from 10:00 a.m. to around 2:00 p.m. Then Lindsay and I went to the Dog and Duck Pub for lunch and had greasy burgers (A Garden Burger in Lindsay’s case.) that were quite tasty. Then we came home and
